CIG Opens Access to Clinical Breast Cancer
In celebration of a decade of publishing Clinical Breast Cancer, CIG Media Group is offering free access to Clinical Breast Cancer at www.cigjournals.com during ASCO.
Over the years, Clinical Breast Cancer has developed a strong name as a platform for top-quality clinical content with a mission to be the premier source for clinically relevant information, to promote excellence in clinical research, and to facilitate the timely translation of that science to health care and clinical practice.
Clinical Breast Cancer was launched in April 2000. The journal has proven to be an excellent communicator of scholarly information, as evidenced by an initial ISI Impact Factor of 2.427.
“At Clinical Breast Cancer, we have enjoyed playing a small part in the progress of this field, and we hope to continue in this role going forward. We will continue to publish clinical trial results that advance treatment options for our patients, and to review the important work of others in what we trust will be a well-reasoned and intelligent manner. The next decade has the potential to largely eliminate breast cancer as a major cause of mortality in the developed world, and we all by playing our parts can advance that important goal,” says Dr. George W. Sledge Jr., Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Breast Cancer.
The tenth anniversary issue includes a special review section that discusses the changes in breast cancer research and treatment during the past decade, with an eye toward the future of the field in the coming decade. Featured are review articles by Drs. Lisa Carey, Larry Solin and Doug Reintgen, and Edith Perez.
