The new pricing policy applies to all journal subscription options, including online only and online plus print subscriptions. Moving forward despite increases in costs for CIG Media Group, the policy will enable institutions to continue to provide important clinic-based oncology research to their constituents. The new pricing policy is designed to allow librarians, confronted with possible budgetary cutbacks, to maintain a consistent level of service within their facilities. The price freeze applies globally, and will be in place for all 2010 institutional subscriptions. CIG Media Group joins several other publishers who have announced changes in pricing structures. Recently, UK-based Oxford Journals announced changes in pricing to reflect economic and library budget pressures.
