CLC Celebrates 10 Years
In celebration of a decade of publishing Clinical Lung Cancer, CIG Media Group, is offering free access to Clinical Lung Cancer, at www.cigjournals.com during IASLC.
Over the years, Clinical Lung Cancer has developed a strong name as a platform for top-quality clinical content with a mission to be the premier source for clinically relevant information, to promote excellence in clinical research, and to facilitate the timely translation of that science to health care and clinical practice.
Clinical Lung Cancer was the first publication by CIG Media Group, LP, and was launched in August 1999. The journal has proven to be an excellent communicator of scholarly information, as evidenced by an initial ISI Impact Factor of 2.393.
“The ‘Clinical Trials Lists’ provide readers with information regarding relevant trials for patients, while ‘Current Trial’ manuscripts give in-depth analyses of trials that have the potential to affect current treatment options. With original studies and comprehensive reviews, the journal provides a solid resource for enhancing the treatment and management of lung cancer,” says Dr. David R. Gandara, Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Lung Cancer.
The tenth anniversary issue includes work by Vera Hirsh on skeletal morbidity in lung cancer. Additionally, a special section titled “Novel Therapeutic Drug Discovery for Advanced Lung Cancer” has been included for readers in this issue. The special section includes comprehensive reviews by Camidge et al on therapeutic insulin-like growth factor axis inhibition and by Gualberto and Karp on the development of the monoclonal antibody figitumumab.
